A competition within the meaning of this platform is a structured event in which participants compete against each other according to established rules. Evaluation is carried out by an independent jury or a transparent points system. There are no hidden costs or subsequent obligations. Participation is voluntary and registration takes place exclusively via the official website.
Events include all organized meetings that are advertised or conducted through the platform. This includes both online events and in-person events. Each event has a clear schedule, a defined location (or virtual space), and a responsible contact person. The maximum number of participants is communicated in advance to enable fair planning.
The organization of events is the responsibility of the respective organizers, who, by registering on the platform, commit to complying with the terms of use. This includes adherence to data protection guidelines, transparent communication of changes, and ensuring respectful interaction. The platform assumes no liability for the execution of individual events but provides tools to standardize processes.
All personal data collected during registration or participation is used exclusively for the organization and execution of the respective event. Data is only shared with third parties with explicit consent or if required by law. After the event concludes, the data is deleted in accordance with applicable data protection regulations, unless a longer retention period is required.
In the event of violations of the competition rules or terms of use, the platform reserves the right to exclude participants from current and future events. Serious violations, such as fraud or harassment, will be reported immediately and may lead to a permanent ban. Each case is reviewed individually, and the affected person will receive a written explanation.
